This year’s contest will welcome talented artists of all ages from across the United States and its territories.
The lucky 2026 winner will receive $500 and their art will be featured on event posters throughout the Annapolis historic district and on the EYC Lights Parade website and social media. All entries must include an Annapolis landmark or skyline, a festively decorated boat or boats and the Eastport Yacht Club burgee.
Stay tuned for more details and the announcement that the contest is LIVE in the months ahead. For now, dust off those paint brushes, pencils and markers and start planning your work of art.

Our friends at Maryland Federation manages the intake of your art now through September 18. MFA will also work to sell your art following the contest. The EYC Lights Parade Committee will have the tough job of determining the winner. We’ll announce the winner at a festive Artists’ Reception in late October. You’re all invited, so stay tuned for details in the months ahead.

It all happens at the beautiful new Chesapeake Region Accessible Boating (CRAB) waterfront facility on Back Creek in Annapolis.
